Since it's the beginning (kind of) of the New Year, my group has decided we want to get more work done. The time for our projects has flown by, and we haven't really got much done. We were planning on contacting the 5 A's and setting a date for our first time volunteering, but we were turned down because you need to be 18 years or older. This was another of many setbacks in our project's timeline. We still plan on donating things such as toys and slip leads, and we would still like to hold an event in the spring. As I said in my last post though, we are cutting out the treats we were going to include earlier in our project. We did this so we could focus on our main idea of helping our shelter. I hope for the month of February we can start working better around our schedule and meet a couple times outside of school. By meeting even just a few times this month, I am sure we can get things made and ready to donate. See you next week!
